Plastic water bottles are constantly being thrown away, taking up space in land fills. Belu, founded by Reed Paget, has created a new bottle, made out of corn instead of oil. These new bottles once recycled can be decomposed. Using renewable sources, the bottles create fewer carbon emissions, and therefore are less of a hazard to our environment. Not only has Belu created this recyclable bottle, but they also have started many water projects around the world, installing wells, and providing clean water to people who don't have access to it. Part of their mission is creating an "environmentally sustainable economy," which is really one of the first steps we must take in getting our world to go green. So next time your grabbing a plastic water bottle, think again, and go grab a belu water bottle instead.

I've never heard of Belu water but I certainly will look for it next time I go to buy bottled water. I always feel so guilty buying bottled water but this sounds like a great alternative. Your blog is very interesting and informative. It will be a good resource for others that are interesting in learning more about "going green". Mrs. A
